Ode to Maharishi

A poem I wrote, inspired by the atmosphere of the people I was around recently.

Though there be a thousand voices,

There is stillness in these rooms.

A thousand rays of sunlight,

Dispel my every gloom.

 

Ethereal Music makes its way,

Hither to and yon.

Joining seemlessly with the souls,

In their inner song.

 

A thousand different faces,

A thousand different creed.

Through their differences, they unite,

Diversity is their need.

 

We come together from far and wide,

We converge on this distant place.

To share our live's with one 'nother,

In this timeless space.
