High School

High School

A Poem by Vanna Renee

Forsaken thoughts

And remedies.

My mind lets go

Of my enemies.

Life is life

And blood runs cold.

Fairytales seem all too old.

The clouds are hiding in the sun.

But the warm weather has begun.

Severed hearts will fix and mend.

As we flex we learn to bend.

High school's just an obstacle.

Dirt binding up your follicles.

Make it, Make it,

Make it through.

Here we go.

Now look into;

The mindless set of suffering,

Fake it

To set it buffering.

Hurt me, Hurt me,

Hurt me most.

Hodl your friends tight and close.

Remember to count your days

The ones that pass will simply haze.

High school had change since my day many moons in the past. A lot of strong statements in this poem.
"High school's just an obstacle.
Dirt binding up your follicles."
Last line is true. Time will go fast. High School will be the last days of freedom of choice and money is needed to eat and live. A excellent poem. Thank you.
