Inspiration

Written for a friend, that had lost his inspiration, it seemed. And in turn, gave me my inspiration to write this. Hope you enjoy it.

Your lips are like poetry,

Free flowing with elequent verses,

Enticing, and intoxicating to one's

mind.

Verses that demand your attention,

As they flow from the edges of your

mouth; they bedazzle, by the word's

in which you recite.

Your heart's blood is the ink

On the page in which you write.

You could convince the stars

That they have lost their glimmer,

And the sun that it has grown cold.

Self-assured with your thoughts,

Soft spoken with your words,

You have reminded me that it is okay

To stand alone, as long as I am

STILL STANDING


I will gladly stand next to you,

For it is good to know you again,

My friend.
