Perfection

The guilt of imperfection. God, how I wish I were stronger. It's unbelievable how many times I catch myself thinking these words, so loudly in my head. Why can't I be what's best for me?

So much is conveyed in these lines. Perfection is hard to strive for, as we achieve more, we push more, but ultimately our happiness is what matters. To be content and happy where we are at in life. To me that is personal perfection. Since this is also a topic I struggle with I am looking forward to reading the rest of your entries. Knowing they are personal struggles I commend you for showing the strength and courage to write so honestly, many can't....so thank you!

Perfect is a hard thing to strive for, especially when we are the ones constantly redefining what that means. Sometimes I think doing that can make us push farther, achieved more. However, it can get a little tricky if we constantly expand that standard...I think that burn a person out after awhile, because they use up all they have running from their flaws...

Anyways, this one provoked a lot of thought for me. I think this is a worthwhile thing for all of us perfectionists to consider.
