Rain Falls for a Reason

I don't mind the rain
It falls from above
Down to the earth
It's cool to the touch
And the pit patter-
It's the most beautiful voice
The rain is peaceful
It realizes that up in the clouds
Everything is different
Like a dream world
It comes down to earth
To this reality
Just to comfort us
And show us-
We don't have to be in the clouds
Or above everyone else
It shows us the positive in falling
Yet we wish it away
And it comes none the less
