Recipe For Disaster

Also on my TeenInk portfolio, as I am swapping my writing from there to here. This might be a little... well a lot dark. But just read it. I wrote it for a journal entry in creative writing class.

5 gallons of heartbreak.

 

4 cups of rapists.

 

2 liters of tears.

 

6 pounds of death.

 

20 pounds of meth.

 

2 grams of poison.

 

Mix the 5 gallons of heartbreak with 1 gram of poison, and add in some anger and violent revenge. Boil the 4 cups of rapists with the 2 liters of tears and stir in the 6 pounds of death. Disregard the pain and death and tears and lack of self-esteem around you as you cook this. Bake the 20 pounds of meth in the oven for 45 minutes, then add in the poison, but make sure it's hidden. That way they think it's their own idea of hatred towards themselves. Bake for 20 more minutes. Sprinkle the rapist mix over the top, and pour over that the heartbreak and poison. Let sit for three years. Be careful, wait too long and the mix'll suicide too early. You want to get pleasure out of this and let them hurt, and be gone when everything goes to hell, your conscious clear. Crumble up the final mix, and throw it in the trash, and let it die.

Author's Note

My view of what rapists do to their victims. The short cooking times are the small amount of time rapists wait. Then they get want they want during the cooking, and leave and let the crumbling and death and poison and tears occur.

Lol, thank you. I always felt my darkness hurt others and made them down but I'm glad to know it doesn't and instead while it itself is negative it encourages something positive. Glad you liked the writing. From what people keep telling me, apparently it's really creative. I dunno. I'm glad my way of writing as dark as it is can bring a smile to your face. (I don't just write dark though, it's just more my specialty. I have some light poems on here too.) Anyways, glad you liked it. :)

I agree that this recipe is being made already. Even right now as I'm typing this, somewhere in the world this is occurring. And yes, we don't try to admit it; we hope that if we don't acknowledge it it will go away. From experience I know that's not true. Even if it wasn't from experience, I would speak out anyways.

"Recipe For Disaster"...I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting an actual recipe. It worked for this though, it really did. I like how everything symbolizes something. Oh...but a very important line has a typo. "Be careful, wait too long and the mix'll suicide to (should be too) early." I really like the creativity in all of your writing, everything is always so unique. Great work. =) And if somebody attaches a link to my review I'm going to start getting creeped out.....

I agree, that was the point, that everything symbolized something. Even the instructions. I'll fix the typo. Thank you for pointing that out, and I agree it's an important line. Lol, it's not that creative. Besides, it was written for a journal assignment for my Creative Writing class in school. We had a paper with journal options on it. I chose Recipe For Disaster. But I guess it still was kind of creative, I didn't have to write about that as my Recipe. I'm glad you liked it. :)

Ok sounds good, after you see the video tell me what you think. Also, I don't have trouble sharing my work unless it's my truer stuff or darker stuff. But I struggle with believing I'm as good as everyone says, even when I have 10 people on 3 different articles and friends at school and family friends telling me I'm amazing. That makes no sense doesn't it? Everyone, so many, tells me I'm good, and I don't believe it.

It can be very true. I have been like that for a very long time, myself.. Since I was 12 I believe. At least I remember feeling that way at that age. Maybe I didn't let it show until later in life. I don't know. Either way, i totally get what you're saying.
