Purgatory

Purgatory

A Poem by Skye

Waiting in this tattered silence,

Blank stares facing the wall

Words unspoken,

A clear unbinding

Nothing living here

Then how can I survive?

All their sense has long been taken

Their will, it seems, is broken

And their souls are empty, bare

The life and spirit, beyond these walls

Bekon me as Sirens

Will, and love, yet sacrifice

Holds beauty all its own

While I am bound, so lost with time

Chained up against the wall

This is really good, and super emotional. The last two lines seem really powerful.

About
Sometimes, I forget my passion underneath the demands of life and want of perfection. Then there are those nights where everything is clear, and I can't help but write what I feel. I love meeting .. more..
