A Scarlet Pale Reminder

A Scarlet Pale Reminder

A Poem by A. V. Madison

Every razor kiss

brings another bliss

every crimson drop

reminds her not to stop

Every cold harsh glare

she sends from beneath her hair

Satiates her want

since her scars will merely haunt

every time she clutches the knife

sends her a wave of pity and strife

she weeps for her future, she weeps for her past

but this scarlet pale reminder won't be her last

I find this to be very intense, but I can sense the inner pain within your words. Well written and I hope things get better with time. Kudos.

You're very welcome madam.
Bleeding too much will cause a person to go cold, literally or emotionally.

This is poem is dark, haunting, and really sad! I love the middle paragraph and the line "sends her a wave of pity and strife." I'm really glad you put this up!
