Roots

Roots

A Poem by A. V. Madison

We are like flowers

through our life

we wither and fade

our petals break,

and prettier flowers are made

but through and through,

we are strong,

me and you,

and our stems

will always stay the same.

What a lovely write this was. Simple enough, but so powerful at the same time.

So true, once can't take away the foot steps that they have made already in life. Each step and it's experience travels with us where ever we go, for we are the sum of all of our meanderings.

Nice ink!

Really good and I get that the past stays the same but you can always change the future.
