Chaos of the Fire Place

Chaos of the Fire Place

A Poem by WaronIdiocy

Chaos of a Fireplace

Fire higher

Flight and falling

Stairs calling upward,

through smoke and fog.

Crumbling

Sliding

Dying

Crying out in night mare

Mothers calling

Mouths are drying

Flailing

And struggling to fall

Stones and bones

Mother widows

more cracked windows

clogged with soot

Fighting

Frying

Clawed hands

Tooth and nail tearing apart

All combating higher callings

Sleepless nights

Dark midnight

Somewhere hiding in shadow

Whips crack

Flesh sizzles

All into nothing

Ashes to ashes

Dust to dust

Why?
