Where am I?

Where am I?

A Poem by WaronIdiocy

Where Am I

A seagull calls,

Alone in the sky.

Circling above me.

A lonesome calling.

Where am I?

I feel no sand,

I hear no waves,

I smell no salt in the air.

Not the beach.

Where am I?

I feel no stifled breeze,

I smell no reeking heat,

I see no piled garbage.

Not a landfill.

Where am I?

I feel no rocking waves,

I hear no voice,

I smell no gasoline.

Not a ferry.

Where am I?

I cannot see,

I cannot feel,

I cannot smell.

I only stare, blindly.

Where am I?

I wait with my seagull friend,

He waits with me alone.

I am soon to join him,

Soaring through the empty air,

Circling above the world.

Waiting for you.
