The Lone Wolf

The Lone Wolf

A Poem by WaronIdiocy

The lone wolf is exactly that, alone
An idol in misery
Hidden from himself
Living proof that ignorance is bliss
Living a life of excuses instead of action
Held aloft on an empty pedestal
The real heroes make up that pedestal
Support out of the lime light
Hidden or just ignored
A wolf’s howl is not a cry of victory
It isn’t a battle cry
It is a miserable cry of loneliness
It isn’t a note in a happy song
But testament to a world gone wrong
