Beautiful Maiden

 

Beautiful maiden in a garden of light

Guarded by a veil that cuts through the night

Charming eyes and long blond hair

Coupled with a smile beyond compare

 

Watch as she dances under the sun

Her heart exhibits pleasure and fun

Bathe under a golden ray of light

As I watch her move gracefully at night

 

Hear the sounds of her melody

Play my guitar to her symphony

Her songs take me to a special place

Beyond our world, our time and space

 

Fill my heart with your emotion

Before you, I knew no commotion

Stir my soul under your skin

Let my spirit sink within

 

As I gaze into the open space

Stars shine brightly on my face

Alone I stand under the rain

Oceans deep, wash away my pain

 

I think of you day by day

As the minutes go, the memories stay

Without your love I feel the pain

Flowing through my every vein

Is there no end to this misery?

Is my suffering built for eternity?

I graced the land searching for a lost soul

When all this time it was you who made me whole
