I watched with my own eyes

Stared not knowing

Invisible tears fell

Could not approach

There, you fell to your knees

And over

Detached from the world

Untouched by my hands

There I stood in shock

Clock passed time

Your lifeless eyes

Stared back

But I can’t move

As if everything is shattered

I stagger back as

Blood splatters

Rain patters

Things averted

No expression on my face

No one can replace

With no grace

Left in space

Time moves faster than I

Everything a blur

Time not known

Such a disaster

Had I been more alert

Why in this lifetime

Had I known

Had I not been so young

Had that image not been replayed

But it’s too late

Everything has been shattered

The poem is good. But the topic is too sad for me.. Hehe
Sorry I'm quite sensitive to dying stuffs. Hehe
This poem makes me think that someone you love might passed away.
I thought about that, 'cause the feelings expressed in the poem is quite similar to the feelings we would feel when our love ones left us without a trace, knowing that where their going we won't be able to follow them.
It's too sad. T_T

You'd expressed that feelings in the great way and made it a poetry.

Though it might not be the message of this poem but that's what I felt when I read it.
'Cause I would really feel the same way as stated in here when one of the people important to me, would eventually have the end on their story in this lifetime.
