I love that old Pink Floyd song "wish you were here" and those classic lines of "two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl". That's just where this poem took me, being a musician, my friends and I often play that one. It's always good to know that there is equilibrium in depth and type of feelings. I travel quite a bit and often send postcards, but rarely from the bottom of my heart as I rarely travel alone. Hope it arrived at it's intended destination :) Nice writing. Short and sweet. penny

Thank you so much Penny. Yes that is a great song by Pink Floyd and the story behind it is a sad one. This was originally a longer poem, 5 or 6 stanzas but I didn't like it so I cut it down to this. I am happy you enjoyed this one today.

I read another poem of yours and had to stop without leaving a review. (I'll try and remember the title) but it is normal to wish the one whom is not in your life anymore, if you love them, hoping they are miserable without you, hurts to think they have moved on. I really enjoy the realistic sentiments here.
