Perfect sunrise smile

Perfect sunrise smile

A Poem by willweb

~

An orange sherbet whisper
now illuminates your eyes
In the mystic morning visions
of these frigid winter skies

While a blue bird sings a chorus
as it frolics in the trees
Upon shivered barren branches
in the chilly northern breeze

Where the dewdrops cast reflections
‘cross an emerald frosted lawn
There along a frozen pathway
leading off into the dawn

And horizons shine your praises
in an effervescent style
When this new day does awaken
to your perfect sunrise smile

Will another of your beautifully imaged poems of brightness and hope. I think I am your alter ego Will, in that my poems take on the dark side of love and passion. Loved this one and am looking for more to come.

Will! How lovely this is! I don't know if you are speaking of a sunrise or a lady in the morn. Either way, I'll imagine this as both. A lovely way to welcome in the day. The first light got me. Beautiful piece, my friend!
