There are 4 poems I wrote....

Light my Light

I walk under the moon lit sky,

Dreaming of the sky unseen

I pray that one night

My light will be lit

Beyond the Light

Cold and forgotten fall day,

The sun shines with no say

Never another ray

Will shine without a say

Fallen to the Depths

A dream so much in depth

That I once had fallen

Further into the earth

No rope to cling on to

Habit, not life

The beaten path that we watch

The overgrown path we dare not take

The sun we wish to shine

The sky we wish so blue

Yea, same here. I am writing my 12th book! None are published at the moment, but hope to be in a few years. I am only 16 and I have written a lot, and I mean alot. And thank you so much!!

I have published 6 books. The words don't make you an author. Don't chase numbers, chase your soul. that is the only way you will be content as an author.

Indeed true, thats the best thing to do. I don't care what people think by opinion because what matters is what you think, not that some don't agree.

well that is a way to deal with it. But we are authors so of course we care what our audience thinks. Many authors will say things like "I write for me" but you don't the act of writing is to share your thoughts. The trick is to understand that there is a place for every word in your lexicon

Exactly, I am more of the writer that takes in opinions, but I also make sure I have myself in that too. Some Authors are stubborn though in realizing that everyone matters, but never lose your own way. Juggling between opinions and our own thoughts can be a struggle, but it can be done, it is what makes us authors and writers
