Without you

As tears fall

Welling from deep within

I cry for what we once had

What I wanted but didn’t see

If I had known what I would have lost

How I much I miss you near

Then maybe I would have tried harder

To keep you close to me

I remember how you used to hold me

I remember you pulling me close

I think I loved you

I really think I did

Then I saw you walk away

Dragging my heart along

Why didn’t you listen to me

All I wanted was one last chance

As I see you everyday

My heart breaks a little more

I can’t get you out of my head

You have been ingrained into my heart
