"

~ We know where I rest

"

~ Amor

Your whispering Amor

Makes me dwell in silent bliss

Trusted as former times

We embraced

In the land of purity I rest

Where everything is

As light from our richest skies

On a spring day

Clouds only walk on a fair

Road of velocity

Within a soft breeze they

Turn into white pillows

To let rest my thoughts on

Without trees there is no oxygen

For my lungs to breathe

And without the sun nothing

Would be so green

Without mountains all would be so flat

As I feel myself the rain

Your whispering Amor

Reaches further than my genes

It touches days back into the past

And give miracle birth for new days

Within your silence my heart beats

Author's Note

For me the key is to balance, too much love can overkill, to less can kill you too...

Thank you xx

Without light, indead there wouldn't be shades... thanks Chris you too take care :)
I loved this Eli.. It preaches acceptance without getting preachy rather it soaks you in a tender soothing touch that makes you stretch back comfortably in you armchair to say to yourself that everything is fine.... Truly all the contrasts, the stark opposites in nature is Her way to embrace the multitudes of diverse humanity, flora and fauna in a harmonious co existence... Life is beautiful!!
Welcome back... I will say it again, the cafe would not have been the same without you... :) You are one of those people who make this place special. :)

and about the author's note i remember the song... too much love will kill you...in which i really agree...moderation is the key...a balance of all things...

Yes, balance... Very good structure here, and I love the passion, the underlying fire. You speak about a love that keeps you warm, but doesn't burn... Very hard to find that kind of love, but this poem made me warm

Thank you so much :)
This is such a light and luminous piece. It shines and radiates. No better way to describe it. I rarely see love described in such a way that makes me smile and think - yeah! That's it. Too often it is weighted down in sugary sweet prose or words that make my blood sugar spike high. This writing hits at exactly the place where "love" is felt. Beauty here.

Thank you so much dear for this beautiful review, your meaning means much to me x
Just stunning Elisa, I am always impressed with the beauty of your verse. I especially enjoyed the metaphors,

"Without trees there is no oxygen
For my lungs to breathe
And without the sun nothing
Would be so green
Without mountains all would be so flat"

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much, I value your thoughts my friend :)
You are wise. I love the feeling of the clouds, walking, the understanding that everything is needed, clouds, mountains.... and using Amor, maybe that's a personal thing? But it fits well in your poem.

So forever in search of the perfect amount of love...makes for great poetry. It flows well, it is written well, it has great work choices and the style is perfect. Bare with me, I'm trying to find point racking ways to say it is brilliant. How'd I do??
Only 4 points, geez I need to take a course in reviewing poetry. So much easier to review food and sports.
