~ And Still

 

 

 

And still, I had so much to ask,

But I was not and am never allowed,

There are flying a thousand questions

Above the temple of my head,

 

They mostly fly around midnight

And often they land on mornings,

With the pleasure of the transparent

Wind that does turn the

Compass of my heart ~

 

Let me forget them for a while;

For they bring me headaches;

Like the hot sun can give you too ~

 

But always they return,

Like little teasing feathers;

When I do not expect them.

 

For there are so many questions I didn’t ask,

For there are too many; I must bury still,

In full acceptance, of this life ~

 

Is it right, that we still are wondering why?

And probably forever will?

For there is a way to pain and suffering

 

Is it fair? I never got the chance?

Or maybe: “I didn't take it”?

It will remain a big question mark

Even I don’t have an answer to.

 

For now, I think, my lips are sealed

Poisoned with black ink through my mouth;

 

Silver needles, crossed them,

And did let love bleed silently forever

For it never dies

So fertile it is…

 

On this moment;

I fly above the dark caves,

Wishing to land,

 

But I’m learning to enjoy, how hurt can be

A pleasure, for I’m not flying alone.

Yes, good eyes, I am born in the Netherlands, I'm officially Dutch, but my roots are mixed, I am Spanish, Dutch, Belgian, Austrian, Indonesian and Moluccan descent so you can say Eurasian :) But officially Dutch, my first language is Dutch, then English, then Italian (cause I lived there) then Spanish, and then French a bit of German, and I'm busy always with many more, I love to learn languages... so good to meet you. Dus je spreekt Nederlands? ;)

Zo heerlijk om mijn Nederlands te oefenen! Als het gaat om het spreken en begrijpen, heb ik geen problemen ... alleen met schrijven! Hebben een heerlijke avond. Echt leuk met u te spreken.

Weet je stiekem hoe leuk het voor mij is, dat er eindelijk iemand op deze site is die mijn taal begrijpt en ook nog zo goed schrijft, het moet lastig zijn, vanuit daar, want je neemt de dingen snel over, dat had ik ook toen ik in Italië woonde. Nederlands is een van de moeilijkste talen ter wereld, omdat het een erg onlogische grammatica structuur kan hebben, die moeilijk in termen valt uit te leggen. Vind het echt knap van je hoe je je verwoord. Ik kan me herinneren toen ik terug in Nederland kwam, dat ik de taal nauwelijks meer kon spreken, ik had er zo'n moeite mee, en intensief in het Engels schrijven, maakt me gemakkelijk eerst in het denken in het Engels, dan vervolgens in mijn moedertaal... het went snel... dus chapeau! Ik ga meer van je lezen, jij kan me bijspijkeren in het Engels, ik doe je Nederlands ok? haha dikke kus.

Oh, if I can answer you in Dutch, it is far easier for me. I understand what I am reading, but, as you say, Dutch is not an easy language grammatically.
