~ Paris with Him

~ Paris with Him

~ Un véritable voyage avec lui...

"

~ Paris with Him

I felt obvious a lady how he treated me

When I walked with him on the Champs-Élysées

The colors of the crowd were neutral,

But our love yet so hungry like the smell of fresh coffee

And the fresh baked  croissants across the street corners

It made our love more than vividly alive...

A glimpse of some street artists,

And accordion players with their delightful music

Made me relive the days of the past

I felt the romance in it’s pure forms, that night

As the cars drove too fast as we missed their slightly sight

Standing there with you underneath the Arc de Triomphe

Feeling your arms around me and your wondeful eyes,

Your dark hair as always dances in the wind

And your glimpse of love is the hottest of mankind

I can drown in the arms that are you filled with trust

The way you fulfill me is like a thousand summers long

The gift of handle my freedom, is rich in you my man, a must

This is smoothly breathtaking! I felt it's every word together in splendid form and perfect structure, telling such a rich story of two in a moment to last forever. It left me a little speechless and comforted in a gasping physical moment wrapped up in a love that fully satisfies the soul. Lovely! This has me in air. X :)

Amazing degree of trust in a man may or may not remain in the future.
But,you are happy with the present and feel safe in his arms.
Thanks for the confidence in love that has been expressed in your lovely poem.
I enjoyed the following two verses very meaningful
"And your glimpse of love is the hottest of mankind

I can drown in the arms that are you filled with trust"

This is so beautiful and romantic. I love the picture that you created with your words. I could smell the fresh croissants and hear the accordion playing :)

Yes, there's something about Paris: the smell of coffee and fresh croissants and those wicked French cigarettes, clinking glasses, the noise of politics and the hooting of traffic and .. and .. tis a wonderful city! And as for the romance, your romance, what a memory, Elisa .. what tickling of the senses, and, more importantly, the memories about someone who really cared .. 'I can drown in the arms that are you filled with trust ' Somehow i think you loved writing this poem, perhaps warmed your heart just a little more. Une poeme superbe!
