Blue

Blue

A Poem by Yellow June

And with the morning sun, each day,
he donned the same blue suit.
And tied that same blue tie,
slipped on those same blue shoes.
He strode about the same grey streets
amongst a million souls:
red, one green, one purple too,
and like him, some were blue.
He passed on by these people who
were all so blue, like him-
and smiled because it felt so right
to just be amongst them.
