Our Love became a Home to me

Our Love became a Home to me

A Poem by Yellow June

Through it all, our love
became a home to me.
I drank it all and basked
oh so selfishly.
But so it was to you-
as far as I could see-
our oasis, paradise
in a stormy sea.
How I loved you-
with all my heart-
despite our tragedy
We never could agree,
but I loved you helplessly...
Through it all, our love
became a home to me,
and somewhere in there I
became 'you and me'
