Lonely Christmas

Christmas day is here again

And I find myself alone

A single tear rolls down my cheek

This day holds a dreary tone

 

But as I think about all this

Something stops my thought

A memory deep inside my heart

And all the happiness its brought

 

I think of you and I know

That you are thinking of me too

I know that you are mine

And that your heart is true

 

So on this merry Christmas

When we are doing what we have to do

I will spend my silent moments

Thinking about you

 

So don’t forget to think of me
