Spine chilling
Body shaking
On my skin
Goosebumps growing

Heartbeat increases
Breathing ceases
In my mind
Courage decreases

Mind commanding
Body disregarding
Within my soul
A war is waging

The fear in me
It strickens me
The fear in my eyes
It never dies...

For some reason this poem reminds me of the hospice where i saw my father die of cancer, each every description perfectly described how i felt. Just the sense of death, and the fear that my father may or may not make it

Wow. I don't know if this has anything to do with the conflicts happening in your part of the world but being an American who doesn't see stuff like this unless it's on TV, it's like bare naked emotion here. You have real talent. Keep up the good work.
