Upon the White

Upon the White

A Poem by Z.A.L. Storm

Another day in this world of dark and light
I find myself wondering of this fight.
Of everyday struggles to and fro
What could be such meaning of this toll?
Discovering deep knowledge of the night,
There is no escape of its blight.
One must simply continue to seek
A fate that may seem so bleak.
Yet there is hope for those of plight
To a world of splendor and delight
Of rolling hills and mountain peaks
And hidden canyons and shimmery creeks
For the moon shines bright
Upon the white
