Hate

Hate

A Poem by zion
"

If hate was a person...

"
Hate.
Hate. You are intoxicating. Nauseating, brutal, and mean.

Yet, I find you oddly exhilarating, thrilling. I find that I love being in your prescence when you so unexpectedly arrive.

However, you show me no courtesy the way I have shown you.

You don’t just arrest my heart. You choke it, torture it throw it away like it’s trash.

You abuse my emotions and posses my mind.

My skin crawls, my eyes water, my throat closes so tight I can’t bear it much longer!
Why are you so cruel what is this vendetta, this hold that you have on me?
I am so much more then the scum that you see me as.
Leave! LEAVE! And never come back…..
Wait…Wait….don’t go I need you. You are my strength when love treats me badly.
I want you to be by my weapon when I have no other. God… why am I so weak?
Please, come back…I need you.

This is fantastic. I love the connections you tie from such a surreal concept as hate to more concrete things.

Cool. I really felt that you got Hate personified correctly. Great stuff.
