My arms are outstretched and reaching for something.
It is a gesture known as a hug. A possible band aid that
Will stop the bleeding of loneliness. Whether it is tight
Or gentle doesn't really matter. A powerful embrace that
Speaks volumes of love between two people without saying
A word. Is there anybody out there with the same outstretched arms?
My tears shed on a pillow without you. Can we rest
