Twinkling Colored Bulbs..by MichaelA Poem by Michael Reisman
Twinkling colored bulbs adorned the Xmas
tree.
I sat there and unwrapped a present from
myself.
A small brown leather address book which
maybe,
Just maybe will help me find the right
one.
That New Years Eve party was when it
happened.
We exchanged names and phone numbers and the
following
Year we became inseparable. She also sat there
beneath twinkling
colored bulbs last year and unwrapped a present
for herself,
With the same Xmas wish in mind.
No more entries were entered as none was
needed.
A gift of hope to ones self was shared beneath
The twinkling colored
bulbs...
