Paint You True

Paint You True

A Poem by akarusty
"

Anybody who wants to use this for next Valentines Day, I won't be offended. Number 13 of 'Break And Employ'.

"

Paint You True

This one goes out to you:

I’ll now tell you the truth

After months of all these lies

For I can no longer hide

These feelings multiplied inside

Under a malicious spell

That falsifies thoughts unworthy.

You are so damn beautiful

Outside and within your perfect skin

Where beauty starts, your life begins

This truth denied declares a sin

Against all humanity

In a world where fools are blind.

So throw away that photo

It cannot paint you true

Of all the things you do

And the love that shines from you

Across your silky shell

That contains a celestial dream.
