Happy

Happy

A Poem by akarusty
"

Deliberate relation to number 2 of 'Break And Employ' album. This is number 16. (I think this is deliberately child-like.)

"

Happy

Listening to comfort songs

To sooth the soul from pains and wrong

Bringing light across this cloudy day

To guide me back to happiness

Gone astray

My face starts to crack and grin

A smile that rests above my chin

It sends a pulse along my bones

That jitters me to dance

Toward my telephone

To pick up the receiver

And dial with ‘elated fever’

Messaging down the line

To all who hear me now

Have yourself a happy time

oh i'm so jealous, i can never rhyme without sounding totally juvenile and contrived. this, however, was amazing. i'm always in awe of writers who can perfectly describe a very universal feeling that so many people have a really hard time describing. i just loved this. :] good job, and i hope you use the word impromptu soon. haha.
