Chapter 2 - New Awakening

I felt compelled

to say good-bye,

I'd miss them so,

my friends, gone.

 

They all wondered

what was wrong with

me, knowing they

could never find out.

 

At home, slamming

the door in Mom's

face, GO AWAY!

LEAVE ME ALONE!

 

Closed curtains,

candle light flickering

around the room,

the only light.

 

Then a shadow,

running past, then

stopping, he sat,

waitling, thinking.

 

I told you I'd be

touching my face.

 

And so I thought,

prey it almost killed,

and then i laughed.

But... I can rid

horrible name,

Forever . . .

 

I was adopted, found

with a note, a prophecy,

and it was misspelled,

as it became my name.

 

The tombstone would

say, Bird Kara Smythe,

but only I know the truth,

Bríd Kierra Domnall. . .

 

Pronounced as

Breej Keer-ah

Don-ahl, my

true name.

 

In Gaelic meaning

Sending me back to

Then it was over,

and I blacked out,

Sleep peacefully,

thirst, I awoke in

darkness, but I

could still see . . .

 

I was in a box,

lined with velvet,

I was in a - a - a

COFFIN!!!

 

I closed my eyes,

it couldn't be true,

I suddenly felt tired,

and drifted to sleep.

 

But when I woke again

it was to his velvet voice,

My little Bird, my beautiful

little Bird, come to me.
