Someday

Someday

A Poem by Alisa Js

to feel safe among the reeds as the wind blows, mysteriously
 would be all I need.
even more than a haunting symphony
around my heart and other parts

your voice remains each time we speak
inside my head, reminding me
of what I need
but dare not say.
I turn and walk away each time
against that wall, too high to climb

lanterns light this darkened road
shadows preen
tho no one hears its silent fear
falling forward only to disappear

someday...

~~ oh... sensitive alisa... i just know this personal (inner) silence so well that sometimes i spook myself out... and keep wondering interminably if i'll ever say the things i truly want to say... especially to the one i need to say them too the most... ~~ exquisite poetry... a heartsong that'll stay with me for a long, long time... p.s. this poem tells me precisely why i'm unable to write since quite some time now...

I have this image of the subject of the poem speaking the words that need to be said and them coming out like a force ten gale and knocking the walls that separate them down.
Thats your painting of those images that is Alisa - powerful stuff - and potent
amazing stuff!!
