Humanity

Humanity

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

In the act

"

Humanity

There is an old, ancient proverb in the air
It rests on clouds, falls on rain, it's snowy composure makes us grin
You feel it's warmth, cuddle in its embrace of you
Human arms readily hug its nature
glowing embers fill the soul's fine deeds
Some humans call it grace
Some live it its wonder
As always it is humanity in the acts of thee.

Thanks Ana,

I would reckon that to see cruelty in its largeness would assist people's humanity.

Al

A very inspiring piece Al.
I wish more people would live in its wonder.

Tanks Pryde!

There were many times when the nails of my own mind kept me down. Finally one or maybe several days I found out how to pull them out.

Thanks Lydia!

I often wonder where the bend of thought came to me as I traveled the mighty road of introspection.

Al

Meditative....and mysterious. Al, this one made me think. I read it twice and could feel the stress leaving me as I rested on those clouds waiting for the ancient proverb to reveal itself. When we perform good deeds, they do come back to us....I believe that. Your spirituality....indeed, your humanity....shines here. Lydi**

The thing is people may understand its calm but not always its strength ... the ego does not allow it. Fine spiritual write here. AL:):):)
