Bombardment rules my space

don't you hate it when your trying to focus on your write only to drift and have other thoughts trying to take over to replace this write with another and another... and so on

The moon, my poem.

The universe, my space

The moon, my focus

Doomed in my space.

Chaos resides 

My universe

So vast.

Of mind in chaos

Bombardment is fast.

Other thoughts:

Meteorites, comets

Leave destructive marks,

Your view, the moon,

My poem; outcast.

Leaving their mark

Without a trace.

All wanting to 

Claim this very space.

A moon in chaos

Too many meteorites,

Too many views.

The ideas keep hurtling

Only to cloud my view.

I actually kinda like the chaos. When it shows up I just grab whatever I can as it whizzes past and write it down. Bingo! I've got a poem! Of course, sometimes it doesn't make any sense but if I feed it dog biscuits or popsicles or curried shrimp and pet it on the head it usually calms down. What were we talking about?
