The collectors!

The collectors!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Knock Knock!
Who is it?
Its takeaway!
I didn't order pizza!
Who is this?
Let us introduce ourselves
we are Mortality and Time.
We have come to collect you.
But I'm not ready!
I'll never be ready!
Sorry, but according to our calculations
your time is well over due.
But.... but ... but...
Come on Time is ticking
hurry up now!
You're not immortal you know!
Can't we make a deal?
You can try the Devil
but there's already been
a Dorian Gray.

I'm surprised there's not an app for this now.
We would like to inform you that in ninety days you expire.
