The Lonely Soul.

Hello world,

Do you see me for what I am?

Do you see that behind these dark eyes of mine,

There is a soul

Aching to be loved.

No scratch that.

Aching to be loved for what it truly is.

My soul is lonely,

Fore it has been abandoned by almost everyone it has ever loved.

Abandoned by the ones who claimed to love it.

And my soul is lonely,

Because it’s a compassionate soul,

Not a loathing soul.

My soul cannot hate,

Not even it’s own haters.

My soul is lonely,

Fore it belongs to a girl,

A girl who is too compassionate for her own good,

Never wanting anything in return

For her love.

My soul is lonely,

Fore it is a part of me.

I really enjoyed this, I thought the repetition and short lines were nice to read. The last two lines really made a statement and ended the poem perfectly

Much more than beauty,
behind your lovely eyes.
Much more than duty,
from your mind so wise.

Much more than passion
you seek from love,
a true soulmate
from up above.

Sorry. I get carried away sometimes. My most recent>poem about poetry< advises poets to do exactly what you have done in this little treasure. The title is "Live A Life Uncommon"
You are a fresh spring blossom awaiting the arrival of the bee.
I met my soulmate over 35 years ago. I married her and we are still best friends. "I'll always love you" I wrote for her over 20 years ago. It is still her favorite. I told GOD, "I make the wrong choices for love. YOU make the choice for me. 3 days later I met my wife. WE became best friends rapidly, love blossomed soon after. I was 27, I'm glad I waited for the one who completes me.
Your soulmate is looking for you too! Ask GOD to bring you together.

Thank you for opening the window of your inner sanctum. Your beauty goes to the core, and beyond.

The soul can be lost. Sometime apart of me is missing . Good to have emotion and desire strong in the heart and mind. When you become cold. Hard to find your way back to life. I like your description. Easy to feel sadness. World can leave us with a bad vision of hope. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the poetry. A excellent poem.

This is a description of my soul in a poem I didn't write. Lovely job, your writing always asks so many questions in some way or another.
