The creak of an empty pew

The creak of an empty pew

A Chapter by Lyn Anderson
"

"
The church listens
to the creak of the
empty pews
each Sunday.

Perhaps they
will soon
convert her
to another spa.

The reasons
for her being
were lost in
translation

from text
to pulpit
to bended
knee.

You inspired me. Thanks.
