Finding my song

Finding my song

A Poem by Imperfection
"

Without the stones, the brook would have lost its song

"

Around the pebbles,

Between the plants, I twist and

Turn, to find my song.

Lovely Haiku. I'm so glad you entered this in the contest, otherwise I might not have stumbled upon it. A very pretty haiku, paints a nice picture in one's mind. I must say that the picture helps. :)
Just one thought - don't haikus have to contain at least one word in reference to any one of the four seasons? As far as I can remember, that is what my teacher taught me in high school and I've come across the concept a few times.
Once again, great haiku. Unfortunately, the contest doesn't end today - or we'd have a clear winner!!

This is a really nice haiku. I don't know if you read any of mine while they were up but I have never really been much of a haiku person - but they can be fun little exercises and I like the idea of choosing the perfect few words to say what you can.
I love the idea of nature having its song and also the life we lead that is full of twists and turns.
Good work.

One of the best Haiku's ever. The picture is perfect but I love how you make Nature mirror life... For it is around the twists and turns of the hurdles and obstacles in our own lives that must of us find our song as well...

Well written lines. The photograph is truly and justly explained by your mere three lines.

nice work.

And the best part about this that it being so short, there are no chance of mistakes.

nice work. once again. ~KA~

I love the quiet power in this piece. I think we all search to find our own song ... and it's always growing and changing. I related to this piece in a profound way. The picture is gorgeous!
