What a beautiful poem, Abhi. Lovely, warm, sweet, innocent stages within the poem. Mama takes the greatest good care of her treasured baby boy, sings to soothe him and help him sleep. We miss Mama as we grow up and the times with her, which are beautifully inked her, but life demands that we grow up and become parents ourselves to our own precious little darlings, it's the circle of life. I love this poem, Abhi and I love the soul touching imagery within the poem. It is so true that innocence in childhood is a gift and it is why it is such a dreadful thing when that innocence is taken away by adults. It is the worst crime of all because the child is forced to relive it in memory for the rest of their lives. Sorry for going off on a tangent there, please forgive me, Abhi... Your poem is truly delightful! Thank you so very much for sharing...

There's nothing like the unconditional love of a mother towards her child. It's the most purest form of love. Childhood, innocence and the adulthood, all part of our lives :) Thanks for sharing your wonderful thoughts, warm wishes, Abhi.

Most welcome always, Abhi. Wishing you a wonderful day and a very lovely weekend too...
You wrote this poem when I was a baby and I empathized with it so much. From what you said, you were a perfect baby, I'm sure I wasn't. There's such innocence in everything you said, it's so sweet. You write as if you have been a mother before! This poem made pink flowers bloom in my heart, I felt the baby's smell...
Talent himself!

I just wanted to express how I felt being a baby when my mother caressed me. Mother is God, that love is unconditional and we are fortunate to experience this. Thanks so much for reading this old write and commenting on this, so glad to hear your thoughts on this poem.

Beautiful poem Abhilash! I really enjoyed the imagery. Such sweet scenes. And the message was clear and easy to relate to. Oh to be innocent again!
Well done. :) Stay inspired!
