Blue Cadillac Twilights

Blue Cadillac Twilights

A Poem by Diego Jara
"

An ode to what shouldnt have been, and what continues to notbe.

"

The White Glow permeates the dreamscapes of a past

With you.

Where are your hands to hold me now?

Through all this shaking and stumbling... Where the hell have you run to?

Well ill be damned, If youve not needed me too!

What was it that we promised then

In blue cadillac twilights?

Was there an ending, an awakening i've not been made aware of?

When we claimed "I love you too" were we just weary

Witnesses

To the fragility of tranquil hues from which all sunsets are made of?
