Pen for Liberation

Pen for Liberation

A Poem by Chirag Kumar

Let the reservoir of pain
ingrained in your innocuous heart,
your fragile mind,
your mortal body,
ooze out like
some dark black ink of words
through the pen
of your wisdom.

Dissolve the chaos arising within.
Dispel the stubborn crest
of sankaras*,
accumulated since zillions of past births,
liquefy and make itself
flow along with the ink.

Your tears,
which once undid your grit,
encircled you inside
the vicious rings of trepidation,
are no more the ornaments of bondage,
for they are bound to desert you,
as you pen down your pains,
to become liberated,
tonight.

First line, first word (Let).

Great piece. Lots of imagery and nice flow.. Different than what I have read of yours recently.
