The Secret

The Secret

A Poem by Tate Morgan
"

A Dream

"

Becky
Happy 14th Anniversary.

I dreamed three words within my mind

that longed to touch her heart
Each a third of the love
I had felt for her from the start

I'd hid these words I'd treasured so
praying they would only heed
But needing love they wanted out
to touch the soul they'd freed

So now at last I let them fly
as all would freely do
That she might know the first be I
the others Love and You

This was stunning! I saw so much in you piece that I felt as if i were reading one of my own. To hide behind ourselves, as I know many of us do, including I! Then to suddenly feel that freedom to come forth and speak of what is in our hearts is a feeling of re-birth. Like being a child again and finding their first joy in life and running with it.. That's what I saw in your piece. The feelings of 'at last I am free'

Fantastic!

Sweet! Thanks for sharing. Love is eternal in certain circumstances and only the ones that are TRUE long for such a thing. You are one of those few - advocate it as you have and endear it as you will forever.
Love and Light,

In a word... beautiful.... :-)

Setting someone free when you love them; yet you know it is the right time to let them go; that is true love, and if your love was meant to be, the one you freed comes back to you. When that happens, hold tight and love with every fiber of your being, for that is the finest and best love of all.

Awwwww, Tate! This is so very charming. I don't think there is a women in the world who does not want to hear those three words. But to hear "I love you" like this, written so elegantly, will be sure to turn her into a puddle of mush. I understand why this is your favorite and I agree. To be honest I wish I wrote this.:) Once again I completely love and relate to this piece, the music, everything. Just so beautiful...
