Granddaughter Payton and I

The world has riches oh so rare

but shares them only with a few

What I love is worth so much more

         they are recollections of you         

 

Through your eyes I have seen wonders

so numerous I can't count

But oh such beauty none the less

before God I could not recount

What need have I for coins of gold

they can't buy what my eyes can see

My treasures lie within your smiles

stamped in the mint of memory

Dear Lord, this was so beautiful I swear it touched my soul. Every line is like a burst of overwhelming beauty the not only encourages but pushes and tugs at the reader to read on and crave more. Honestly, I was breathless by the end of it, my eyes were absorbed by each word as was the rest of being, reading this was an experience I wouldn't mind having a few hundred times more. but i feel that maybe this sentence can be reformed. Although I understand the meaning, the structure of the sentence can be somewhat confusing.

As are mine Tate grandchildren and great grandchildren I have enjoyed them all. I have sufficient for my nedds I see no point in working 16hour days 7 days a week to earn more than I can spend.I 'd much rather spend time with family
