My Call

My Call

A Poem by Ashley Lytle
"

Dedicated to my cousin, Ella Brown.

"
Can you hear my call?
Past the fields of quietness
Over the cold and windy mountains
Through the countless cities
Calling for you
The one and only

You may not see me
But know that I am there
My voice traveling from afar
To tell you "I love you!"
And to accompany you whenever

So next time you hear the whisper
The whisper in the silence
Or the voice within the crowd
Know that is me
Sending you a message of love
For I am with you always

Now this is awesome, very sweet and definitive. I've seen a lot of writing in my life and I will tell you, the best writers can make a few simple lines dynamic. And to you, I applaud you. The lines are carried, balanced, and it clearly brought life to the reader's mind's eye.

Absolutely wonderful. Great work :)
