Love Is Like A Rose

Love Is Like A Rose

A Poem by Jerbear The Great

Love is like a rose,

Beautiful and majestic.

But as everyone knows,

It started out as a tiny seed.

This seed, like friendship,

Must be planted in the soft , fertile soil,

If it wants any chance at kinship.

Now we must nurture it to make it grow,

Watering and feeding it.

All of you care into it, must flow,

Pruning and shaping it.

However, you must be careful,

And protect it from weeds and such things.

For they are the bull

To the fighter,

Always threatening to extinguish it.

If you have followed these steps,

Into a flower it will bloom,

Beautiful and majestic.
