Memories...

"Flipping through the pages of my past,
Staring at the beautiful pictured memories
I made with you years back.
A breeze of nostalgia wraps me
and my lips curl up into a smile,
as I pause over an image of you.
Those feelings still so fresh,
subsided for so long,
yet ever so pure."

I just want to take this moment
to write down to you.
My words may not be perfect
but I wish to pass them through.

You were a beautiful friend,
and will always be...
We might not be here tomorrow,
or might not have time to free,
I will always cherish knowing you,
and I hope, you will remember me...

This was really beautiful.. very good flow and rhythm too! Ending on friendship.. had a sense this was more in the beginning but how nice it is to end on such a good note. Memories are taken for granted.. ask anyone whom has lost their memory and photos as well as music are timecapsules to past events in so many great ways (really depends on how you feel about past). Here I sensed alot of respect and desire.. and it was nice to read!
