This was for my friend who's name is Holly :)

I see the tears form

And then they fall from y our eyes

You wipe them away

Whether they’re clear

Or stained black with make-up

 

I’m almost crying now too

But my strength doesn’t let me

Instead I just hug you

Doing everything I can

Just to show you some comfort

 

I feel so powerless

And unfortunately I am

Only able to talk, play,

Give hugs, or wipe some tears away

Never anything more

 

I want to save you from your “family”

Which you feel doesn’t even exist

If it were even possible

I’d have you live with me
