Lonely

Meh. That's how I feel about this one.. Written 7/13/11

Loneliness
That same feeling
I've felt countless times before
Has come back again
And been quite a burden

It breaks me down
Which is nothing new
Nor is the difficulty
In actually being able
To shed a tear

Though the tears
Make it to my eyes
They go no further
My cheeks stay dry
And I'm left with out a release

On most day
I'd send you a text
But when this is the problem
I think it a bad idea
Because it's about you

So instead I find a pen
And put it to good use
On a fresh sheet of paper
Where words flow out
From my heart into the ink
