this little light

This little light of mine, 

Where did you go?

I’d like to follow

You used to be so bright inside

Now you’ve dimmed

You’ve seem to become muted

It’s hard to see you now

This little light of mine

Seems to keep fighting to being

extinguished

but i fight for her, 

Because she is me, and i am her

This little light of mine

Has seemed to become less bright

But i’m fighting for her to survive

This little light of mine, 

Is still keeping me going

Despite all the pain and heartbreak

That life keeps on throwing

This little light of mine

Isn’t so easily taken

She’ll shine as bright as the sun

And keep on going

And one day it won’t feel so hard

And life won’t seem so sad

This little light of mine

Will cast all the sadness of mine away
